Reading the tales of the Vicomte de Valmont in Les Liaisons dangereuses, a book really most teenagers should read (I only just started it) and I come to the conclusion that I've never been the one to conquer a woman. Books, songs, movies they all tell us that the man is the conqueror and the woman is the citadel warding off suitors.
