Why good guys don't get the girl

Listen to Meat Loaf-Two out of three ain't bad      Yesterday I was reading some emails I had exchanged with an ex-girlfriend trying to understand why it hadn't worked and not 10 minutes later I saw a FB story of this quote highlighted in the book : You mustn't be angry with me. One can't help these things. I remember that I thought you wicked and cruel because you did this, that, and the other; but it was very silly of me. You didn't love me, and it was absurd to blame you for that. I thought I could make you love me, but I know now that was impossible. Dancing and Male-Female Relationships: My Journey

Image
Dancing has always held a fascinating allure in the realm of male-female interactions. It’s a medium that transcends verbal communication, a dance of connection and intimacy that can both illuminate and challenge the dynamics between partners. My journey with dancing and its impact on my relationships has been a roller coaster, marked by moments of disillusionment, discovery, and growth. The Early Disappointments Twice in my life, I found myself facing disappointment in the context of dancing and relationships. Both times involved girlfriends who were more skilled dancers than I was (wasn't really that hard to be that way to be honest). They moved with a grace and confidence that I simply couldn't match. While they twirled effortlessly on the dance floor, I fumbled, feeling like a leaden-footed novice. The gap in our dancing abilities created an unspoken tension. I felt inadequate and self-conscious, aware that my lack of skill was not only holding me back but also impe...
